Declan Rice
Be fair, in the modern game, this young man is the best we've produced other than Rio. He could even go on to be better - take him out of todays 11 and that defence would fall apart. On paper that current back four have no chance of four straight clean sheets. Rice is the key, the way he stepped back and covered today was very good. A mention too for Diop - another fantastic young player, and Fabianski, best keeper since Rob Green and maybe best since Ludo.

We're in a good place at the moment. Let's enjoy

Re: Declan Rice
Hardly needed a thread ffs, bless, but yes looking better all the time. Think it also helps that he's a level headed young lad, or to put it another way old before his time.

He is or certainly will be worth a fortune,, that said with the tv money these days it's less of an impact now getting dough from selling players.

COYI!!

Rice is the main reason why Noble is looking so fucking brilliant too.

Always the first person to celebrate as well, the cunt absolutely loves it and clearly the club which is refreshing.

Re: Declan Rice
He is world class already

Such a good passer of the ball, reads the game brilliantly and always looks to pass forward.....if he cant pass forward he backs himself to dribble it up the pitch with purpose

Think he will go next summer the top top clubs will not want to miss him so will all try get ahead of the queue

And Grumps i agree he fooking loves it and loves us fans. If he gives us another 3-5 years he will go down in cult hero status

Is Maguire is worth £80m, what is Rice worth? £125m?

Re: Declan Rice
Rossal, which top club will Rice go to because other than Liverpool and ManCity he is already at a top club.

Re: Declan Rice
Declan is a breath of fresh air his pace and the way he can read the game is far beyond his years.

Love the kid. A superstar hammer

Re: Declan Rice
Are you missing the teams who regularly play in the Champions League or Europa, comma?

Only a 7 year old would think we are third only to Man City and Liverpool in terms of stature.

Football really isn't for you is it, it's embarrassing watching you try and talk about it.

Re: Declan Rice
Rice is great player to have on the pitch and at club, wears his heart on his sleeve and long may it continue.

We just need to continue to grow with him.

And ignore people like Hargreaves and so many others who are flogging him to teams that we are at this moment better than (our opponents yesterday.)

Re: Declan Rice
I am a real and long term supporter of WHU and they are without question a top team for me.

I have no problem with support of my lifelong team.

Oh and I welcome my posts causing a Pavlovian response from an entity ensconced in its West Country midden. Means that yet again I’ve hit my target and have it’s attention.

If you post to get people's attention, keep it off the football threads, maybe.

Since Rob Green, yes. And before that.

Re: Declan Rice
I post where and when I like and for whatever reason I like.

If something chooses to follow me around this Board it is it’s choice not mine. That being the case address a comment as to why it has chosen to post.

Like I say WHU are my top club.

Re: Declan Rice
I wasn't questioning your support, it was your ridiculous assessment of the club's standing in the game.

As IoC says, if you're going to post stupid things to get attention so you can then (falsely) claim fishing do so on the bullshit threads.

Grumpster 11:58 Mon Sep 23
Re: Declan Rice
Rice would be absolutely perfect for Arsenal as well.

Wish him well when the inevitable happens, though hopefully in a few years yet.

And I got laughed at at work for saying I thought Fabianski was playing better than any other keeper in the premiership, bit I literally can't remember the last time he made a mistake that cost a goal.

Been some of the best business the club has ever made and fuck me we've made some shockers over the years.

Re: Declan Rice
Glad to have your attention, again, and like I say me being a true and loyal supporter I can understand how you find my stance for my club baffling.

Do carry on.

Re: Declan Rice
I'll be honest I genuinely believe that after this season Rice could get into any team in the world and I include Real, Juve and PSG in that. He really is that good.
